In a must win encounter against the side that have been league leaders all season the players stepped up with gritty battling performance and took the three points with a well earned 5-2 win.
Bobby Keoghs slick finish for a very early goal settled the nerves after a clever through ball by Gavin McGrath. Patrick Maguire rifled a free kick into the top corner soon after to make it 2-0 and Ethan Cottrell scored an incredible solo third. Bobby was on the score sheet again to hit our 4th and Liam Cooper wrapped up the scoring with a 5th. Matthew Timi was ran close but secured the man of the match performance with an all action midfield display alongside a superb Ted OMhurchù. Great win and on to a title decider at Tully Park soon.
